Thanks for stopping by. I’m Gary, this is my site. My aim is to give a short “review” on any interesting wines or other alcoholic drinks that I get a chance to sample. I use “inverted commas” around “review”  because I am not in any real way qualified to comment on wine – I am not in the wine or hospitality industries, I just like drinking wine! …as do you, presumably, if you are reading this.

I have been collecting wine since 2007 and have a particular fondness for big, old reds but will drink pretty much anything. Not sure if that’s an endorsement or an indictment but it’s the truth.
